The Promotions Committee is excited to share the outcome of their branding refresh that they have been developing. The Committee is at a place where your input is very important. We are asking for your help in voting on a new logo.
The goal of this project was to ensure that the new logo and branding materials identified the downtown business core, as well as establish a look and feel that encourages visitors and tourists to stop and explore. In keeping with the Cle Elum Downtown Association values, the committee wanted to honor the historic aesthetic of our downtown, and embrace a modern treatment to promote the historic and modern value that our business community is presenting.
The logos themselves feature original illustrations inspired by current and former Cle Elum buildings including the Cle Elum State Bank building (currently Umpqua), the Independent Meat Company building (currently Ruby’s), and the Reed House (Cle Elum’s first hotel). While not obvious to the casual eye, it further honors the rich history of the historic downtown core.
